Traffic Sign Violation

The failure to adhere to certain traffic signals will often result in the offer of a fixed penalty, resulting in most cases with three points added to your driving licence.

There are limited circumstances in which a challenge can be made, such as where the sign fails to conform to the appropriate regulations. Whilst such an offence may be considered minor, it is of course important to view this in the context of whether the driver has any existing points rendering him or her liable to a "totting" disqualification.
